Description: Part of the Law in the Hills: Litchfield Courthouse, Celebrated Cases, and Legal Leading Lights lecture series. Join Wesley Horton as he presents on Litchfield County’s illustrious justices. Connecticut was home to many prestigious Court Justices. His talk will feature the stories of Chief Justice Tapping Reeve, James Gould, Charles Andrews, and Samuel Church, among others. Horton is a Connecticut Appellate Lawyer and has written on the state’s Supreme Court and Constitution. This lecture series is cosponsored by the Litchfield County Bar Association.
